Do you want to help out the communities in a practical way? We have a volunteer winter gritting team who help grit the pavements each winter.

Volunteers at Aberdeen Hindu Temple Trust have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a number of ways: assisting with daily temple duties, welcoming visitors, supporting festival events, helping with communication and outreach, or working behind the scenes in administration, building upkeep and fundraising.

We are looking for volunteers to study whether replacing sugar with a prebiotic in a drink can reduce blood glucose levels. We are looking for: Healthy men and women aged 18-65 years; Those with BMI 18.5 to 29.9 kg/m2; Those who are non-smoking; Those who are not currently following a vegan diet.

We're scouting for talent. You don't have to be Chief Scout to volunteer. Every week we help prepare over 200 young people with skills for life. We make a big difference. You could too. Use your skills and talents for good and make a difference.

Could you spare some time to support 1st Aberdeen in a voluntary capacity? We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated individuals as Section Leaders for our Beaver (6–8 yrs) and Cub (8 - 10.5yrs) Groups.

Join the McBey Library team at Aberdeen Art Gallery and help visitors access a fascinating specialist reference collection connected to the gallery’s artworks. As a Volunteer Assistant, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a cultural setting, develop useful skills, and play a key role in supporting this unique research resource.
