Volunteer and make a difference in

We are developing a series of Nature Connection sessions to be delivered in Aberdeen, in conjunction with our Nature Prescribing project and supported by Aberdeen City Health and Social Partnership. We are recruiting a small team of volunteers who will work with our Community Engagement Officer to plan and deliver the sessions.

We are looking for information stand volunteers and parade volunteers to join us at Grampian Pride on Saturday 7th June 2025 (our information stand will be located at the wonderful Pride Village at Duthie Park). You will be raising awareness of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK within LGBTQIA+ communities.

shmuSCREEN empowers local communities to create short films and video content for shmu’s online platforms. Participants will gain valuable skills in filming, interviewing, and editing, with a focus on producing impactful content that showcases the stories of their communities.

There are various volunteering roles in shmuFM: you can be a studio presenter, part of a community news gathering team, specialist music presenter, or get involved behind the scenes. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Volunteer Administrator/Manager to support our CEO in implementing key initiatives. This role will help turn ideas into action by ensuring the smooth running of operations, coordinating activities, and assisting in the growth and reputation-building of ABW.
