We are developing a series of Nature Connection sessions to be delivered in Aberdeen, in conjunction with our Nature Prescribing project and supported by Aberdeen City Health and Social Partnership. We are recruiting a small team of volunteers who will work with our Community Engagement Officer to plan and deliver the sessions.

We are looking for information stand volunteers and parade volunteers to join us at Grampian Pride on Saturday 7th June 2025 (our information stand will be located at the wonderful Pride Village at Duthie Park). You will be raising awareness of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK within LGBTQIA+ communities.

shmuSCREEN empowers local communities to create short films and video content for shmu’s online platforms. Participants will gain valuable skills in filming, interviewing, and editing, with a focus on producing impactful content that showcases the stories of their communities.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Volunteer Administrator/Manager to support our CEO in implementing key initiatives. This role will help turn ideas into action by ensuring the smooth running of operations, coordinating activities, and assisting in the growth and reputation-building of ABW.

We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Fundraiser to support our CEO in securing financial resources to grow our impact. This role is crucial for securing funding from local and national governments, grant-making bodies, and corporate sponsors to establish and expand ABW’s reach.

We are looking for someone to take on the role of treasurer or even just assist with book-keeping. A background in either of these areas would be required. The volunteer role can be undertaken at home at times to suit the volunteer with attendance at board meetings (in person or online) every 6 weeks on average.

We have exciting opportunities to join our friendly group of volunteers to support one, two or three of our Safari Series races throughout 2025. Each race requires around 30-40 volunteers at each event to run the day safely.
