We are looking for people keen to teach a foreign language or English classes for speakers of other languages. Teaching a foreign language is a great way to expand people's horizons and curiosity.

We are looking for kind individuals who want to share their knowledge and improve people's life.Teach an IT class to help pensioners to use the Internet and do general tasks. Help people to improve their IT skills at a professional level.

We are looking for experienced gardeners to give us a green hand in maintaining our garden to an excellent standard. Beginners are also welcomed but as we are not gardeners ourselves, we can only provide very limited support.

Run a cooking class and teach recipes you like to share! If you don't feel comfortable teaching a class, you could show your cooking/baking skills at our Youth Club, Phoenix Club and/or Pensioners Club!

We are looking for musicians who would like to share their knowledge and passion! We are also looking for singer for singing classes if you are keen. The classes are build around what you want: age group, number of participants, group classes or 1-on-1 classes, length of the classes.

Our gaming club is looking for volunteers. We have lots of video games and board games, while you can also bring your own if you wish to! The ideal volunteer wants to work with kids, has a positive attitude, likes to play games. No previous experience needed.

Help build and update our website and other community projects sites. You will have a lot of freedom as long as our centre has a fresh, clean and content filled website. We currently use pre-build website for all our website, so there is no need to be a professional web developer. Everyone with a positive attitude and a will for doing something nice for the community is welcome. This is a great opportunity to develop your IT skills and gain experience in project management.

We have exciting opportunities at Inchgarth Community Centre for people to help organise entertainment and activities for our preschool toddlers, find new people to join the group and possibly attend the session to help the group. This is a great opportunity to develop your organisational & customer services skills, and gain experience in group/event management.

Help us keep our social media pages updated with the most recent information about our exciting activities, events and classes. You will also manage online marketing campaign to get more members and volunteers if you fancy it. This is also an opportunity to improve your Social Media Marketing skills and gain experience in a PR/Marketing position.

The Phoenix Club is a wonderful social club for adults with learning or physical disabilities, where people have fun and socialise together. Every Monday night from 7pm-9pm, the club meets at Inchgarth Community Centre to play pool, video games or board games, to sing karaoke or paint. We are seeking new volunteers for the club and for befrienders.

Help us offer the best experience to our Pensioners Club, a lovely social group for older people. Set up the room, tidy the tables and chairs away, become a befrienders during the session. The pensioners club plays a vital role in the lives of its members, is fun to take part in, and really will make a difference to people's lives.

Volunteering at the cafe you will serve and chat with customers, stock up items, make coffee, tea, and more. The cafe plays a vital role in our community, and all profits go towards offering better services to the community. This is a great opportunity to develop your customer services skills, gain experience as a waiter/waitress and meet lot of new people.

With so many classes at the centre, loads of new things taking place, events, shows, opportunities, we would love to have a monthly newsletter and e-bulletin to send to our users, partners and members. You could also create flyers & posters for our upcoming events and new activities/classes. This a great opportunity to develop your creative skills (Design, Writing) & gain experience in project management.

The Friday Youth club is a vital social club for all children in Garthdee. Bring your best attitude and come help us make Friday Youth Club something the kids won't forget!

As a big and vibrant community centre, we offer a large range of activities for all ages, and welcome charities that help may different kind of people throughout the years. In this we rely strongly on fundraising and good relationships with Aberdonian Businesses. That's why we need Fundraiser Volunteers who will manage our relationships with local and city wide businesses, seek both public and private donations and sponsorship, as well as any other interesting opportunities.

We have a great opportunity for people to help as Pool and Snooker Club Volunteer Helpers. We are looking for motivated people to join our Pool and Snooker Club. It is running on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm and volunteers can assist at any or all of these times.

We are looking for people who would go on a rota to collect and take home members from the Pensioners Club at Inchgarth Community Centre on Monday afternoons. The Pensioners Club is held every Monday from 1-3pm, while the driver would need to be at Inchgarth at 12.15pm to get the bus and start the round.
