Want to be involved in your local community getting people active? We are looking for people to lead health walks as part of the Walk Aberdeen programme.

Our vision for Social Suppers is simple, we want to be able to provide delicious and nutritious food to people who are currently homeless or experiencing food poverty. Volunteer alongside Social Bite staff and a team of volunteers to provide regular hot meals and support to people affected by homelessness.

We are looking for volunteers to help us sort through many of the donated items ready for sale. We are flexible with hours and days and are looking for enthusiastic people with a heart for making a difference to join our friendly team.

At Social Bite we believe that no one should be hungry, there is enough food and wealth in the city that means we can do something about this. Food is a great way of meeting peoples' needs as well as offering community, a listening ear, and sign posting people to other services they may need.

Silver City Surfers assist people to learn basic computer skills 1-to-1 in a social setting. We have a brilliant team of volunteers that help and are currently recruiting new volunteers.

As a volunteer for this project, you will be a companion to our clients. Our clients are mostly elderly or people with disabilities affected by exclusion. In order to help them, we are providing a network of volunteers who accompany them while going out on public transport, going to pictures or, simply, grabbing a coffee.

Join the multi-media team! We are starting a new group that will report on local news and events. You will learn how to use skills from many of shmu's media stands, focusing on video, audio, print and photography to tell our communities stories.
