We would like volunteers to provide horticulture support to the Tullos Community Garden project. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of a community garden that has been up and running for almost 5 years.

CFINE and Earth & Worms Community Garden (E&W) are working together to expand community composting in Aberdeen. We'd like to continue building our lovely volunteer bases, and install some new features in the E&W garden that will enable us to branch out into new activities.

Our Support For Learning volunteers work together with course tutors during the sessions to: prep and for the sessions and pack down afterwards; supporting course participants to carry out activities; supporting course participants with paperwork and writing where appropriate, and; sometimes some additional tasks (e.g. collecting refreshments for the sessions) are helpful as well.

The Trust is governed by a Board of up to 11 Directors, who meet at least four times a year. A maximum of 6 Board members may be representatives of Castlehill Housing Association, the Trust's parent Company. The Trust aims to ensure that the structure and make up of its Board delivers a balanced approach with a range of experience and knowledge recognising that overall strategic control sits with Castlehill, but that the Trust must operate and deliver its services in its own distinctive way, meeting the needs of its clients.

We have a fantastic team of staff and volunteers at Cancer Research UK Union Street store. We have great opportunities for more people to join our volunteer team to help us with customer service. Our shop has been open just over a year and is lovely and clean, colour coordinated and has bags of style.

As a Voluntary Co-worker you will become part of a team within one of our 10 residential Care homes, set in beautiful surroundings 5 miles outside of Aberdeen City centre and close to the Deeside Railway line. The opportunity does not require you to have previous experience, we just ask that you are caring, patient and willing to help our pupils, have an interest in people and different ways of communications.

In September 2020, medical charity, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, took on the former Waldorf school site at Craigton Road to transform it into a centre demonstrating practical solutions for healthy, sustainable lifestyles. Compass offers a wide range of volunteering activities to suit a all sorts of interests and skills. Activities are generally outdoors so will vary according to the weather and the season.
