As a volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring food donations are efficiently managed. You’ll welcome and thank donors, check, weigh, and record incoming stock, and sort food by date and type. You’ll also prepare stock orders for our food bank centre and emergency food boxes, ensuring timely and accurate distribution. By maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, and reporting any health & safety concerns, you'll help create a safe and welcoming environment.
