About this opportunity

Do you want to be part of a growing organisation which aims to improve the wellbeing and mental health of adults aged 16+ in the Aberdeen area?

Our aims are to promote the provision of cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling and EMDR services, to develop the links between nutrition and mental and physical wellbeing and to promote opportunities for learning about food and its links to a healthy lifestyle. We currently offer therapy sessions, growing for wellbeing groups, group cooking sessions and group therapy.

Mind Store is a SCIO and obtained charitable status in 2022. Since its inception in 2019 we have supported an extensive number of people improve their wellbeing and mental health.

We are looking for trustees to help guide and help to shape the organisation as it moves forward.

Chairperson: Our former chair recently stood down and we were sorry to lose her extensive knowledge and experience she brought to the role. We would like to attract someone with experience in any of these areas: mental health, nutrition, governance.

Trustees: We would also be interested in strengthening our board of trustees and we are looking for individuals who have skills in fundraising, marketing, and business development. We are keen to attract anyone with third sector experience or with an interest in gaining experience within the sector.

If you feel that you have the skills to fulfil any of these roles, we would love to hear from you.
