COG: Community Outreach Group is dedicated to supporting homeless and vulnerable individuals in the City of Aberdeen. Our mission is to offer not just immediate relief but also a sense of community and hope to those who need it most. We recognise the challenges faced by these individuals and strive to address their basic needs through consistent and reliable assistance.
By providing meals and essential items, we aim to alleviate some of the daily struggles that come with homelessness and vulnerability. Our services are designed to offer a respite and a moment of comfort, fostering a sense of dignity and care in an often harsh environment.
Every Wednesday and Sunday evening, our team of dedicated volunteers comes together to distribute meals and essentials to the homeless and vulnerable populations of Aberdeen. These regular outreach sessions are more than just a handout; they are an opportunity to build relationships, offer support, and connect individuals with additional resources that may help them on a path to stability. Our commitment goes beyond just providing food and essentials; we aim to create a supportive community where everyone feels valued and understood. Through our efforts, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
