AAAC hosts training sessions and competitions year-round at Aberdeen Sports Village, providing complete indoor and outdoor training facilities for track and field and everything necessary for cross-training.
Frame running (formerly race running) originated in Denmark in the 1990s. It is an athletics event in which individuals with impaired mobility can walk or run using a special running frame called an ace runner. The running frame is a 3-wheeled frame with handlebars, a chest support and a saddle, but no pedals.
