A group volunteer with Aberdeen Young Carers will assist staff members in delivering any planned activities e.g. arts and crafts, baking, sport activities etc. They will actively participate with the activity, encourage young people to join in and have fun and build up positive relationships with the Young Carers by being friendly and non-judgemental.

Recently the Hub became a Registered Charity and seeks to build up its Trustee membership in order to maintain and develop the high standard of outdoor sports provision which is greatly appreciated by the community. The Comradeship Circles service aims to reduce loneliness by offering older members of the ex-service community the opportunity to enjoy regular group camaraderie by telephone. A Comradeship Circle will host typically six people on the same day and time each week to chat about a range of topics and interests over the phone.
