Parkour Expression CIC is a not-for-profit organisation based in Aberdeen and it aims to attract funding and coaches to enable regular parkour workshops / classes / events in the North East of Scotland. As part of our ongoing development we are recruiting a Director for an initial one-year term and are now inviting applications.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A keen interest in parkour and the development of parkour in the North East of Scotland
• An understanding of funding applications and experience in successful funding applications
• An impressive track record of success in the private, public and/or voluntary sector
• A good understanding of the role that sport plays in society
• A clear commitment to improving diversity and equality and understanding the needs of under-represented groups in sport
• A good understanding of the UK's sporting landscape.

Please note that this will be a volunteer role and will be unpaid. You will be expected to attend at least eight to ten Board meetings a year, which are normally held online via Zoom. In addition, we would encourage your attendance at a number of Parkour Expression events and classes.
