About this opportunity

The Caf4e & Company Lunch Club is an initiative delivered in partnership with Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership, aimed at combating social isolation among older adults in Bridge of Don. Running once a fortnight on Fridays, the Lunch Club offers a nutritious hot meal, engaging activities, entertainment, and ample opportunities for socialising and forming friendships.

Volunteer Roles:

  • Driving: Help transport members to and from the Lunch Club.
  • Social Interaction & Hosting: Engage with attendees, facilitate conversations, and create a welcoming atmosphere at tables.
  • Practical Tasks: Assist with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up.
  • Befriending: Offer companionship and support to attendees, helping them feel valued and connected.

Volunteering with the Caf4e & Company Lunch Club is not just about giving —it's also about receiving friendship, support, and the satisfaction of knowing you are making a real difference.
