About this opportunity

About Aberdeen Blueberry Wellness

Aberdeen Blueberry Wellness (ABW) is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting health and well-being in every community. We deliver fitness programs that support individuals—especially women experiencing peri-menopause and menopause—helping them manage their health through movement. Our mission is to create healthier communities, reduce pressure on the NHS, and ensure workplaces retain valuable talent by supporting well-being through exercise.

Role Overview

Are you passionate about social media and looking to use your skills for a meaningful cause? As our Volunteer Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in raising awareness of ABW’s work, engaging our audience, and helping us grow our online presence. We are a small organisation, which means your contribution can make a huge impact in shaping our brand and reaching more people who need our support!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Help grow and manage our online community, responding to comments and messages.
• Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and stories to promote our fitness programs and health initiatives.
• Work with the CEO to share success stories, educational content, and event promotions.
• Monitor social media analytics and suggest ways to improve engagement.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant trends in fitness, menopause support, and community health.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience or strong interest in social media management and digital marketing.
• Creativity and a keen eye for visual content.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Passion for health, fitness, and making a social impact.
• Ability to work independently and generate fresh content ideas.

What You’ll Gain:

• A chance to make a real impact in a growing social enterprise.
• Hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media strategy.
• The opportunity to be part of a passionate team working to improve community health.
• A flexible volunteer role that fits around your schedule.
• This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, engaging online communities, and wants to use their digital skills for a cause that truly makes a difference.

An exciting time to join us and make a real difference. All volunteers are greatly appreciated.
