Your Volunteering Checklist - What Do You Want To Do?

The information and checklist below will give you an indication as to some of the opportunities that we hold in the areas that are of particular interest to you.

If you still any assistance in taking your volunteering interest further, then please contact the Volunteer Centre to discuss your own needs and requirements. Thank you for your interest in volunteering.

Before you start in volunteering, please consider the following four steps:

Step One

Try to think about where your interests lie and what kind of volunteering you want to do - there is a huge choice of opportunities for volunteering.

To help you in this, you may wish to look at the questions below. Also, look through any websites/address supplied. They may help you decide what areas you would like to get involved in.

Step Two

If you need to contact a Volunteer Co-ordinator, let him/her know what you are interested in. We have good contacts with many organisations which may have opportunities of interest to you.

Step Three

Once you have decided which opportunities interest you, the Volunteer Centre will provide you with contact details for you to use.

Step Four

This may be your first step into volunteering and we hope it will be a positive experience. If you have any further questions the Volunteer Centre will be happy to answer these.
